Warranty Policy

MOBYDATA PRODUCTS IN VIETNAM

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. Devices supplied by LATEC are genuine products, 100% newly imported, unused, and of clear origin.
  2. Warranty Period (calculated from the date the device is handed over to the customer):
    • Devices are warranted according to the manufacturer’s policy, ranging from 12 to 36 months, depending on the type of product.
    • Module components are warranted for 6 months.
    • Accompanying accessories are warranted for 3 months.
    • For other genuine devices, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy in Vietnam or the warranty slip provided with the product

 

     3.Warranty Repait Time :

     Calculated from the time the service center receives the faulty product and checks the condition:

    • For products eligible for free warranty: Repair will be completed within 72 working hours.
    • For products not eligible for free warranty: Depending on the specific issue, the service center will inform the customer of the repair time, which will be stated clearly in the product handover/return report.

II. WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  1. Conditions for Free Warranty:

    • The product is still within the warranty period and accompanied by proper documentation, such as receipts or invoices.

    • The product must be officially purchased from authorized dealers or distributors of LATEC in Vietnam.

    • The damage is caused by manufacturing defects.All related documents must be presented when requesting warranty service.

    • The warranty seal must remain intact, without signs of tampering, erasure, or damage.

    • The serial number (if any), model, and appearance must match the information in related documents. The serial number must be intact and not altered, patched, or covered.

Note: If the product needs to be sent to the service center for repair, the technician will make the final decision. In this case, the customer must cover the shipping cost.

    2. Conditions That Void Free Warranty:

    • The warranty period has expired.

    • The product lacks proper documentation or invoices from LATEC/MOBYDATA’s official dealers or distributors in Vietnam.

    • Damage caused by force majeure or external factors such as war, natural disasters, floods, lightning, electrical surges, fire, epidemics, or damages during transportation (cracks, dents, scratches, etc.).

    • The warranty seal shows signs of tampering, erasure, or damage.

    • The serial number (if any), model, or product appearance does not match the information in related documents.

    • The product is damaged due to improper use, non-compliance with user instructions, incorrect installation, unstable or unsuitable power source.

    • Rust, stains, or corrosion caused by environmental factors, chemicals, or liquid intrusion.

    • The product shows signs of disassembly, repair, or part replacement performed at unauthorized service centers.

    • Cleaning, maintenance services, promotional products, demo units, complimentary items, consumables, or expendable materials are not covered by warranty.

    • Free bundled software is not covered by warranty
